Today is Halloween and boy are the kids excited! Also today, the kids have no school and Gabe has no work.....its Nevada Day. Nevada Day is an annual holiday which commemmorates the statehood of Nevada.

Celebrating my 100th Post with a funny story

Gabriel walks into a costume shop and this what happened...

Gabriel: "Excuse me, I am looking for a Womens Alice in Wonderland costume in size 0".

Clerk: "Oh, your wife must be so beautiful".

Gabriel "Oh, no this is for my 13 almost 14 year old daughter.......my wife is a size 2".

Clerk: Well aren't you a lucky guy to have such beautiful women in your life.

Gabriel: Yes, I am

I must say I do have a sweet husband....but also a damn good liar too!

HAPPY............but tired!!!

I just ran one mile in 13 minutes. I used to run it in 8 when I was in high school. My goal is to get down to 10 or 11 minutes. I am going to run a 5K on Thanksgiving morning here in town so I've been running the last 3 weeks.

Parents these days!!!

Christina and I are very open about everything. She tells me things that I don't want to hear sometimes and I tell her things she doesn't want to hear. So yesterday she starts to tell me about this girl at her bus stop. She said that when her mom drops her off, her mom flips her off. Christina says she's seen her do it so many times. When I heard this, my mind went into confusion overload!!! What kind of parent does this??? Mabye its her way of saying "Have a good day at school". Anyway, my mind is still trying to figure that one out. I don't get it.

Camping & Disneyland

So we are back from our semi-vacation. It was so much fun it took us 2 days to recover. Here we are fishing. The kids had so much fun! Gabriel and I used to go fishing all the time before the kids were born. We are going to try to go more often now that they are abit older.
This is the catfish Christina caught. We threw it back into the lake. She was the only one who caught a fish that weekend.
It was so windy and cold. Brrrrrr!!!!!!
The kids at Disneyland. The Happiest Place on Earth! It is. You cannot be grumpy and go to Disneyland.....seriously! I still love D-land. I used to go all the time when I was in high school. We also went to California Adventures.

I think today is the first day that my feet don't hurt from all the walking we did on Monday. It was so windy in Ca. There were also a few fires all around So. California that we quickly left on Tuesday morning before we got caught in the flames.

Computers, Pedicures, and Kids

Pedicures and Acyrlic nails were my bi-weekly [once every 2 weeks] treat many many years ago. I actually had my toes done this week. I think that was my first time in more than a year....since we've moved. There is a new salon here in town and I love it. The pedicurist is wonderful and did a great job!!!

My computer loves me very much!!! He almost died on me a few weeks ago. I was told by the computer doctor that I would have to go out and buy a new one. Gabe's friend fixes computer and offered to take a look at it. His diagnosis was that it need a new motherboard [the boys love that word....motherboard!]. So I finally got my baby home tonight. I am a happy mommy tonight [with freshly polished toe nails]. I'll blog more next week because we have alot planned for the next 5 days. Love ya!!!!!!!!!!
