Postcard from London, England

I was happy to receive this postcard from my sister-in-law Erika in the mail today. She left about 2 weeks ago and should be returning sometime this week. She took her 2 kids with her to visit her sister-in-law. She wrote on the back and said it was raining. What!!! Rain in London!!!!!!!!
We are having California visitors in a few short hours. My little sister Cindy [the OMG! cheerleader] called and said they should arrive at 8:00p.m. Cool! That will be her first visit to my house since we moved last June. Can't wait to hang out with my little sis. I can't believe she's 15! She'll be driving real soon. When I was in high school, I would take her out to McDonalds for Happy Meals. People would give me the worst looks because they thought I was a teen mom. I just ignored them and enjoyed her company. She was my sidekick during her toddler years. Ciao!!!

Summertime!!!

Our summer has been some what relaxing.....so far! We haven't been anywhere yet. We mostly spend our days sleeping in, swimming, watching movies. I haven't really been in my scrapbook room either. Gabriel finally took Christina to get her passport yesterday. They said it should arrive in 3-4 weeks. Perfect timing because they will be traveling the first week of August. Gabriel and I had Dr. appts. yesterday. We are all healthy...just needed checkups. We did have to wait one hour past our appointment times which didn't make Gabriel happy. We saw the P.A. instead of the Dr. but we really liked her. She spent about 45 minutes with us discussing our health. We came home, had dinner, and then watched Wipeout on ABC. Funny!!! Fourth of July weekend will be a fun one. My brother-in-law, nephew, and some friends will be coming into town.We will be making our first summer trip to California in about 2 weeks. We are excited!!! We heard Ca has had some wicked weather the last few days. 114' with 60% humidity!!!!!! YIKES!!!! We've been in the low 100's the last 3 weeks which isn't too bad. I can't stand the humidity....too sticky for my liking. Well I hope it mellows out by the time we make our way through there. Gabriel and I have started a new business which will make its debut 4th of July weekend. Can't wait!!! And last but not least, my dear friend Claire is going through some difficult times with her family. I have you in my thoughts and prayers. I can't imagine what you are going through. God will lead you in the right direction. Hugs and kisses to the little guy!!!

Birthday Presents

My birthday celebration started on Sunday. The whole family and I drove into Vegas for a semi-relaxing day. We left our house at 7:45 a.m. We stopped at Target first then ate some breakfast at a buffet. Then my family went to see Indiana Jones while I got pampered. I got a 50-minute Swedish massage and a 50-minute facial. This was my first time for both and boy was it a wonderful and relaxing experience. I loved the facial! My skin felt so soft. I'd love to have a facial done once a month. I left the spa and met up with my kids and Gabe. We then went to Sam's Club and Lowe's....not so relaxing! It was a long day. We ended up getting home around 4:00p.m. This is was last night, June 10th, my 29th birthday. I got 2 email birthday congrats, a few birthdays phone calls, and my friend Olivia came by and dropped off some flowers and a card. Everytime I spoke to Gabriel yesterday, he kept telling me Happy Birthday! He even sang Happy Birthday at 4:30 a.m. when he woke up and went to work. I have one more year to enjoy my 20's and then I'll be off into my 30's.............God willing!!!

Fun Weekend in Ca!

We went to California this weekend for my niece Alexandra's First Holy Communion slash Joey's Birthday Party. Our road trips keep getting easier and easier. There was no traffic what so ever which is always appreciated!!! Here's a pic. I snapped of my kiddos along with Jacob, my nephew and godson, and niece Alexandra on Saturday morning.
My sister-in-law Erika always throws great parties but this one topped the list. She had a margarita machine, nacho machine, a taco bar [taquero], 2 cakes, pinata, and a DJ [which showed up at 7:00 p.m.] I think next year we agreed to have another big party in May if all the brothers pitch in.
Joey and I! Love my Love Bug!!!!!!!
That is Gabriel dancing in the Cowboys shirt. He's not a dancer but abit of Crown Royale made him get out there and shake it!!! He even did some break-dancing. It all caught up to him at 3:00 a.m. when he woke up to use the bathroom and needed my assistance to get him out of bed....he had hurt his knee. He made plans to go play golf with his California buddies and ended up waking up at 6 in the morning to make it to there 7 o'clock tee time. Great times!!! We went to dinner with my parents to the Old Spaghetti Factory on Sunday night. My mom had asked me last week if we would let Christina travel with them this summer and of course we said yes. All we need to do is get her passport and they pay for everything. What a great opportunity for a young lady like Crissy to see the world. My parents always travel to some interesting destinations so we will see where she'll end up. They were thinking either Canada, China, or Brazil. Brazil would be fun!!!
