Merry Christmas!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Ours was a little chaotic but we survived :) This cute Santa suit had a little surprise in it. A Hershey's chocolate bar! I made 7, all for Crissy's teachers. They were pretty easy to make. I saw this idea online and decided it was too cute not to do. Enjoy your New Year and reflect on the wonderful blessings of 2007!!!!!!!

Joseph's Christmas Program

Everyone is going to kill me for not having more memory space left in my camera. Sorry! Hey, how about one of you buy me a camcorder for X-mas! Well anyway 6 seconds is better than nothing...we had a great time watching Joey sing at his pre-school Christmas program last night. He's so cute! Gabriel and I are so proud of our little guy! By the way, if you can't spot him, he is next to the little girl with the big pink ribbon on her hair :) Enjoy!!!!!!

13-year old who knows it all, loves to shop, now wears lipgloss has officially entered the room! She's a TEENAGER!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time flies and its so nice to see Christina grow up and turn into such an awesome young lady. We love you Chokey!

8 weeks and counting.......

Last weekend was my sisters baby shower!!! She has 8 weeks left until little peanut makes her grand entrance. I made her the cutest scrapbook. It was a pink 12x12 album with 30 pages. I made it in less than 3 weeks. Lets just say I spent alot of time in my scrapbook room creating away. I've gotten pretty good at creating pages pretty fast. I will get pictures of it to share with everyone.

I've been a bad blogger lately! Sorry folks! I wanted to wish everyone a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

I am thankful for so many things this year...

1. my healthy family

2. our home...we had a great transition into our new home.

3. extended family that has always been there for us. We have been very blessed.

4. our children...that they may continue to grow with God, be themselves, and accomplish the goals they set for themselves.

5. our friends

6. our jobs

7. I am so thankful for the angels that come down and touch our lives in times of need.

8. my scrapbook stuff...it sounds alittle selfish but it does save me when I am stressed. Its my stress reliever :)

9. For the yummy food we'll be eating later.

10. I am so thankful for another year with my family.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Don't forget ladies that October is Breast Cancer awareness month! Breast Cancer is the most common form of cancer in women. Please get checked no matter what age you are...even if your a guy. Yeah you too can be diagnosed with BC. I am getting my mammogram referral tomorrow so its not too late!

Party Animals!!!

This is what happens when your kids are up until 4:00 in the morning......well only your 12-year old! We went to my sisters house last weekend for her House Warming Party. They don't party alot but this was quite the party.

I can't believe all my kids are in school now. Its the craziest feeling ever! I've been at home for almost 6 years and the time has flown by way too fast. Today is the 1st day I will be at home without any kids. Joey started Pre-school today and boy was he excited! It was kinda sad for me too because he's my little baby. I said my goodbye to him and he blew me a huge kiss! He was already sitting and working on some blocks. He'll only go 2 times a week but your probably thinking what I'll be doing with a little bit of free time. Well I am going to go the gym, clean my house, scrapbook, mabye watch some TV, go to the grocery store...Lots to do!!!

Baby Shower Invites!.

Since my older sister is pregnant with her first child, I kinda said I would do the invitations. They aren't any regular invites. They have to be carefully designed and made exceptionally cute! Its a girl so that adds more cuteness to the invitations. Lots of pink! So here are a few of the 10 that I am sending her. She needs to pick one of the 10 so I could get started on them in the next week. I'd like to complete them by the first or second week of October. I am giving myself a full month to do them because we have a huge family and she has loads of friends...so needless to say I'll be doing quite a few invitations

Our First Day of School

Look how beautiful she looks!!! She was nervous on her first day of 7th grade but came home on the school bus. She had a great day and made new friends :)

Davey Jones!!!

Here is Davey Jones from the Monkeys!!! I remember watching re-runs of The Monkeys and having the biggest crush on him. Now he's just an old fart...just kidding. He still can move pretty good. He was jumping up and down. He performed a concert by the lakeside RV park our friends stayed at this weekend. We watched his perfomance for a while.

With the excitment of the concert, the kids were in the mood for some dancing!!!

Our little guy is so brave!!! He drove off by himself at the race track. I had a tear or two as he drove away. He drove so good it was kind of scary

Just because!!!!!!!

So Wednesday, I get a call from Gabe saying that I should stick around the house because we were having someone come over at 1:30 p.m. to give us an estimate for the pool. I was bummed because I had to run to Wal-mart and the post office. So I waited and waited and nothing! I got upset because I didn't want to wait until Thursday to run my errands. So the doorbell rings at about 3:45 p.m. It was a lady holding flowers. She said "Are you Sandra", I said "Yes". My first thought was Lyon Homes sending us flowers as a "thank-you" for buying one of there homes. But it turns out Gabriel sent them to me :) I usually get flowers once every 3 or 4 months but haven't had them in awhile. I thought "He did something wrong". I was wrong...he sent them "JUST BECAUSE".

My new house!!! I love it! Its very big compared to where we were before. We went from less than 1600 sq. ft to 2,445 sq. ft. I love it!!! The picutre is kind of dark. I took it on a well lite day. It was 113'! We are loving it here! There are alot of retired people here so it kind of feels like we are retired...but with little kids :) We go swimming every other day. The desert sun is a killer! We are going to talk to a pool contractor this weekend in Vegas. Even though we have a pool a few blocks down, everyone has a pool here! Its cooled down alot from last week. It was about 112'-115' last week and its been under 110' this week. Anyway back to the house....I still need to hang some things on the walls. There are some artificial plants I want to buy for the house, a big mirror for the hallway, a table for the hallway, a table with 6 chairs for the kitchen area, and paint all the bedrooms. There's much more to be added to that list. Enjoy the pics!

My china hutch...I think we might get rid of it because we are going to re-do the kitchen cabinets. Didn't really like the color of them. I wanted something darker like chocolate.

My kitchen from the family room :) I am not liking that color! Gabriel picked it. I hope we could re-paint it . Anyway, I love the kitchen! Way bigger than my old house.

Happy 4th Birthday Joey!

My baby just turned 4!!! BOO HOO HOO!!! I can't believe how fast time goes by!!!! He'll be in pre-school in August :( I love you little dude!

"I love my mommy because.....

my mom is the best mom in the world ever." This was the response of a little 5-year old boy I like to call Vinny. Other kids answered because there moms buy them presents. Vinny thought about it and his response made me a happy mommy on Mother's Day.

My Dad is the Man, My Mom Rocks, and Hello my name is Trouble!!!

Are these not the cutest kids ever!!! If I knew what they were going to look like I would of never begged my husband to get fixed!!! I could of have 2 or 3 more of these lit' guys. Daddy went to good ol' Target 2 weeks ago and bought them these shirts. We went out yesterday for a family day to Ross [Dress for Less] and to lunch at Mimi's Cafe. Our waitress was so good! We tipped her $10...our bill was $45. Love a family day out!!!

Santa Ana Zoo!!!

So we went down to see my mom [aka: Grandma for the kids] on Thursday. She wanted to take the kids to the zoo so we went to the local Santa Ana Zoo. If you are wondering who the other girl in the pictures are...that's my little sister Cindy [aka: Cindy Windy]. She's 13 almost 14!! That place has gotten so much better from when I was a little one :) They have some really cool animals. The highlight of my zoo trip was the bald eagle. It couldn't fly because he had been shot on one of his wings. It was so awesome!!! We also took a ride on a train. We left the zoo and went to eat some lunch. The kids were starving. Vinny ate 4 pieces of pizza! I think his middle name should of been pizza. Vincent Pizza :) We left Irvine around 3 p.m. and boy was there traffic on the 91. So to kill time, I had Christina unbuckle her seat belt [wow, that's so unsafe...oh well] and we took some silly pictures. It was great!!!

Happy Easter 2007!!!!

It took me a week to post Easter pictures but here they are. We had such a great family gathering. Lots of food, lots of good conversation, and lots of kids running around looking for Easter eggs. I bought some easter cookies so the kids could have an activity to do. So they all decorated there cookies. Look at Vinny's work of art!

M.O.M.S. Club Easter Party

Today was a fun and "Egg-stra" special day! We went to Shannon's house for our annual M.O.M.S. Club Easter Party. We had lots of yummy food, an Easter Egg Hunt, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny :)
