Family Day at Sea World

Guess where this family was at today? Sea World San Diego! We had fun...not lots of fun...but fun! I woke up late 6:00 a.m. I was supposed to be up at 5:30. It took us 2 whole hours to get there. Wonderful Southern California traffic on that 5 south. We all know how Gabe loves traffic!!!We entered the park at 9:45 a.m. and none of the food carts or restaurants were open. We were told that the restaurants opened at 11. Lie! We didn't get into a restaurant until 11:30p.m. which made us miss one of the shows we wanted to see. We saw, Believe...the Shamu show and boy was that great! A+!!!! We sat in the "splash zone" and Gabe even bought 3 ponchos so the kids wouldn't get soaked [it was a cool 65]. We didn't get a drop of water on us! There goes $18 [ouch! $6 each]. So we were on the road by 2p.m. The boys fell asleep along with me. We were tired! I think we are planning Knotts Berry Farm in May. By the way...I just found out my friend Stephanie's husband, John, has cancer again. He was hit with kidney cancer in Sept. and had one kidney removed. He recovered well but just found out on Friday that he has cancer on the bone by his groin area! Lots of prayers for John, Stephanie, and the kids!!! Keep your chin up and God Bless You!
