Year in Review: 2008

Well, here we are......at the end of another year. This year went by fast like every year. My kids have grown lots this year and I too have grown....to be a better person. I've learned alot of things this year.....especially not to be late on renewing car insurance. Here is my list of what I learned in 2008.....
* being more patient with my kids and especially my husband. He recently quite smoking. The first week was a killer........for me, not for him. May he have awesome health in 2009!
*being patient with certain adults. There are some individuals who want to make others miserable for there benefit. Sorry, you're not going to affect me.
* don't ever weld anything in front of your home.
* if you live close to your family, make sure you see them as much as possible.
* God does listen
* I love my family more than ever
This year also brought a new addition to my sister and her husband. Her name is Keira. And they will be welcoming Baby sister #2 at the end of February 2009. I ran my first race and did great! I am aiming for the stars and will [hopefully.....if I don't chicken out] be running a half-marathon at Disneyland in September 2009. Wish me luck!!! I have other good news to share but can't do that until tomorrow. Its not about me but someone else that I love.
Wishing all you a Happy New Year 2009 filled with peace, health, and happiness!!!!!!!

Christmas 2008

Well these pictures are not in order. I've been messing with them for the last 30 minutes.
The kids with aunt Cindy and baby Keira at grandma's house.
Christina and Joseph sleeping on our way home. Again, these pictures are out of order. Look at the back of the car. We usually pack about 3-4 bags of clothes, a cooler, and Gabriel's golf clubs. We come back with shopping bags, food, presents. This time around, we came back with so much more stuff. It was Christmas so we had a bunch of toys for the boys and clothes for Christina.

Christmas Eve at my aunts house.
Cindy and I.

This should have been the first picture. The kids opening up there "group" gift. Its a Wii Fit.
I am far too tired to post any more pictures. Sorry people! I am a little sick right now. I was in bed asleep for most of the day yesterday. Today, I feel much better but my stomach is still bothering me. We had a great to trip to Ca. We were gone for 7 days and had a blast. I stayed at my mom's for 2 days, one night at my aunt's house, and the other nights at my mother-in-law's. I will try to post a year in review later. Have a great New Year's Eve!!!

The snow continues.....

First of all, I had a crappy night. I have a slight cold and was tossing and turning all night. I was waiting for a call from the schools to let us know if the kids were going to have a snow day....and they did! I got 3 calls... 3:36 a.m., 4:16 a.m., & 5:30 a.m. Then Gabe didn't go to work and decided to wake the kids up at 5 to look outside the windows. We feel asleep for another hour and a half.

This what my house looked like this morning. So bizarre!

These are our neighbors homes.

This is the small park around the corner from our house.....completely filled with snow. We decided to make a snow man.

This is what we created.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!

This week has been a week to remember. The weather has been super cold mixed in with abit of rain and snow. It snowed most of Monday morning and today we got another downpour of snow......more than Monday! They said it hasn't snowed in Southern Nevada like this since 1978. Its wild!!!
More snow in front of my house. Santa and the Snowman have front row seats to this weather phenomenom.
The kids having fun in the snow!

Birthdays and Wrestling!

Another birthday for little Miss Christina. All I know is that she'll be driving in 2 years [insert mortified face].
